World Series Bound

So its been quiet around her for the last three days. Well in case you didn't hear... the Kansas City Royals won 8 straight games in the post season and we are headed to the World Series!

I've been cheering on the team every night and it's difficult to write a post and watch a game!! Now we are waiting to see who we play... Cardinals or Giants! All of my boys played ball growing up and I spent many seasons driving from one field to the next to watch them all play. I love to watch baseball... but I get so nervous too! See ya tomorrow for sure with an outfit post!

Leather Sleeves

When I first saw this jacket hanging there I knew it had great potential. Talk about fun! Not only is it a denim jacket, but it's black and has leather sleeves. A little biker chick look but without the bike. Ha! Adding my skull scarf and geometric Maddy Nash clutch it really stepped up this black and white combo that I paired with my faux leather pants and of course leopard flats!

I had on my 50 x Fifty list to deep clean out my closet and slowly but surely I have made great strides. I have cleaned out bags full of shoes, tanks sweaters... even dresses and tops. Do you ever hang on to an item because of how you felt when you wore it, or maybe think the memories attached to when you wore it? I know I have been guilty of that. Adding in a few key pieces like this jacket will really go far. What have you added you your closet lately?
